Updated Connections Plug-ins and why Client Advocacy Matters

What a surprise! Without much noise about it, HCL has updated the various Connections plug-ins. And even more surprising, they also worked on the plug-in for the Notes client on Mac. This plug-in has been missing for way too long and I’m happy to have it back. Roberto Mazzoni, one of HCL’s Lifetime Ambassadors, wrote about the new plug-ins in his blog.

«Where can I find the plug-in» you ask? very good question. It’s under the Download section of the Connections Resources, which you can find here.

The downloads links are all in specific Knowledge Base articles, but note that they link to Flexnet for the downloads. Below you can find the links to the relevant articles.

Now what’s up with that «Client Advocacy Matters?»

Very simple. I was on a HCL Client Advocacy Call with the University of Zurich, where Roberto asked about the plug-in for Notes on Mac, since we had not heard anything about it for weeks (if not months). Wow, were we surprised, when Scott Vrusho told us that there had been updates. Thanks again Scott, for making our Friday even better 🙂

If you don’t know what the Client Advocacy is all about, head over to this post for a short explanation.
