Since we had not yet upgraded the mail template to 9 this feature was missing in the beginning.<\/p>\n<p>The color coding of calendar entries is not new to IBM Notes but the possibility to choose a color for your own categories is with release 9. <\/p>\n<p>Filter for <em>Calendar<\/em> in the IBM Notes client preferences and look for the <em>Category Colors<\/em> tab.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ponte.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Category-colors-1024x844.png\" alt=\"Category Colors\" width=\"474\" height=\"390\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-757\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ponte.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Category-colors-1024x844.png 1024w, https:\/\/ponte.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Category-colors-300x247.png 300w, https:\/\/ponte.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Category-colors.png 1430w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can choose the categories and define the background and text color to apply.
